A synchronization point that pauses execution until continued.

Publish a value and pause until next() is called.

wait()

Wait until a checkpoint is active.

next()

Release the active checkpoint.

State

value property

Return the most recently published value.

is_active property

Return whether the checkpoint is currently active.
